"Polar Bear Swim Day!"

Hello everyone! 

Today Wednesday January 1st it's "Polar Bear Swim Day!" 

Here are some ideas con how you can celebrate this fun festivity! 

Casual- Watch a movie or documentary about swimming polar bears! 

Committed- Invite your family and friends to a movie night, where you will watch movies about polar bears and eat ice treats (popsicles, ice cream etc.) resembling a polar bear's cold habitat! 

Hard-Core- Throw a "Polar Bear Swim Party" for your friends and family. Everyone must be wearing a polar bear mask (Look for it below!) and they also must wear white clothing to resemble a polar bear. The air conditioner must be set really low in order to feel like in the cold Arctic Ocean!

Waffles Wednesday Way Presents Today's Recipe! 
Banana Waffles 
Serves 4 


INGREDIENTS

• 1 1/4 cups of all purpose flour 
• 3 teaspoons of baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt 
• 1 pinch ground nutmeg 
• 1 cup 1% milk 
• 1 egg 
• 1 ripe bananas, sliced 

METHOD

1. Preheat waffle iron. In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Stir in milk and eggs until mixture is smooth. 

2. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour two tablespoons of the waffle batter onto the hot waffle iron. Place two slices of banana on top of the batter and then spoon another two tablespoons of batter on top the banana. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot. 

COLOR CHALLENGE

Today's Color Challenge is "Color Yourself Elegant" by wearing something Plum (Dark purple). Go outside wearing a piece of clothing in the color Plum, or if you can even wear a pop of color!  You will feel elegant and classy in this royal related color! When someone compliments your color choice, answer: "Thank you, I feel very elegant."
